Hi internet! Phew, it's been a while. I've been so busy with this whole life thing that i've been a littttttle behind on my blog posts, but don't you worry - i'm back!
A lot has gone down since I graduated from the bootcamp. First, I was able to land a job at an ad tech company, here in Manhattan, where I work with social media advertising data and primarily use python and excel to pull reports of how the ad campaigns are performing. Secondly, I've continued trekking along through grad school (also in data science). In the coming weeks (months), my goal is to post on a plethora of different concepts i've been learning in school and on my own, projects i've been working on, and just random life stuff. Hopefully this will include the following and much more:
- Overview of the metis bootcamp
- Kaggle competitions
- Python cheatsheets
- Grad school stuff
- "BIG data" tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc)
- Feature Engineering
- Linear Algebra
- Modeling Approaches
- Time Series
As you can see, i've been working on a lot - bare with me while I try and wrap up all of my notes into comprehensible posts.
Until next time.
